Description

The South African Krugerrand Gold Coins are the most widely owned bullion gold coin globally. The purpose of the original issue was to encourage individual ownership of the gold and it was said the krugerrand golds clearly met the objective. The 1/10 oz krugerrand gold coin – South African is available in Brilliant Uncirculated conditions from the years of our choice.

The Krugerrand is Africa’s premium gold bullion coins and was first released in 1967. While there are other coins minted on behalf of the African government throughout the continent, Krugerrand is one of the few gold coins produced within an African country.  Kruger’s name was combined with the word “rand,” which refers to a South African currency. It doesn’t get any purer than a genuine Krugerrand in terms of purity.

The South African 1/10 oz Gold Krugerrand Coin is made of 22 karat gold (91 percent pure), with copper making up the rest of the weight. Copper is extremely hardy and gives the Krugerrand an orange tint, similar to crown gold. Each of the Gold Coins has been minted 1/10 troy oz of pure gold. The year of mintage may vary depending on the availability of the coin in our inventory.

Purchase 1/10 oz Gold Krugerrands To Diversify Your Investment Portfolio

Many investors prefer 1/10 oz Gold Krugerrands because they are recognized to offer balance to an investing portfolio. Because 1/10 oz gold coins, like many other gold coins, are frequently held for longer than three years, gold’s past performance becomes more relevant than its current price. While the value of fractional gold Krugerrands and other gold bullion may fluctuate, gold generally moves independently of the stock market.
