The Metalor Group, producing precious metal bars as Metalor Metals, is one of the worlds largest suppliers of gold, silver, platinum, and palladium bullion. The vast majority of its bullion product lineup takes the form of minted ingots or cast bars. One of the largest options is the 1 Kilo gold bar.

On the obverse of the 1 Kilo Gold Bar in this listing, you will find several inscriptions with identifying markers for the bar. This includes the word Metalor at the top of the bar. Down the right side of the bar are inscriptions of 1 Kilo Gold 999.9. The assayers mark from Metalor is at the bottom with a unique serial number featured below it. Serial numbers for these cast gold bars use an eight-number coding system.
The reverse face of 1 Kilo Gold Bars available here is left blank after production. Cast gold bars offer lower premiums than minted ingots for a number of reasons. In addition to the simpler, quicker production method, the cast gold bars have design elements stamped on just one side, compared to the dual designs of minted ingots.
These cast gold bars come from Metalor Metals, a division of The Metalor Group that is now a subsidiary of Tanaka Kikinzoku Group from Japan. These cast gold bars have a smooth finish to the obverse with slightly rounded edges at the top of the obverse face. The reverse has rough textures resulting from the cooling of the gold bar. While Metalor Metals produces a wide range of bullion, it is also a major producer of precious metals and metal alloys for the jewelry and watchmaking industries.
