This alloyed platinum has an annealed hardness of 120 HV (Vickers hardness) and a working hardness of approximately 220 HV, along with high tensile strength.

These properties — refined grain structure, excellent hardness, and strength — make the Pt/Ru alloy well suited for machine casting and polishing, and it is used for ring manufacturing. Available in small rod form, this .952 platinum alloy produces bright, high-quality finished jewelry pieces
